I love the “dress like a grownup” resolution! I’m really turned off by the chasing of younger generation’s aesthetic. When I was younger, I looked up to my professors, aunts, mentors, etc. (their character, of course, but also their style!) not the other way around!

I am relieved that I am not the only one choosing scrolling over much needed sleep but also I intend to kick this habit too. I had no idea it was called Revenge Bedtime Procrastination 😂 SO accurate!

Thanks for sharing your goals 🙏🏻

So accurate right? Books it is! I may also try leaving my phone in the kitchen to charge at night…the most emotionally balanced person I know does this and it seems to do wonders. Even if it means investing in an old school alarm clock!

You will not be surprised to hear I have an alarm clock Moni (not that it ever goes off before a kid gets in here first)

I really like the "write every morning" and will try to implement this too. I already read every night before bed, but I have no kids and so I get to do all the scrolling I want during daytime hours. Can highly recommend letting a book lull you to sleep though!

I don’t drink either; only an occasional Margarita. It’s part of my culture. Texas culture. 🤠

"Plan party looks in advance" is such a good one because this is where my impulse shopping tends to come into play. Love all these goals!

I have to say your Dries Van Noten look was one of the best street style of the year. Perfect

Thank you for sharing your resolutions with us! I sometimes feel like resolutions are so personal, but it's great to read that I'm not the only one doom scrolling at night, or procrastinating writing.

Your fashion ones are spot on as well - I, too, am trying to wear everything in my closet, and not just the same cashmere v-neck because it's oh-so-soft and comfortable. Buying only vintage is also great, because I find that with the age of Instagram, we're all being influenced to buy the same things. A fine line between buying something because I truly genuinely love it, and not just because I saw a cool girl wear it in a picture.

Writing 500 words every morning is genius—I'm stealing that! As for giving up alcohol (even temporarily), here’s a fun tidbit: every year before Christmas, I ditch added sugar and alcohol. This time, my Whoop bracelet—a nifty gadget that tracks recovery, stress, and consumption effects—gave me a wake-up call.

A few glasses of champagne on Christmas Eve? My sleep tanked, and my recovery stats plummeted. I tested it again, and the results were the same. So now, wine is reserved for truly special occasions. I love wine, but I love feeling rested, looking fresh, and sleeping like a champ even more.

Here’s to resolutions that stick and feeling our best—cheers! (With water, of course.)

Whoop, there it is. The unfortunate truth! More words less wine, here we go!! 🤝

Love this but what’s wrong with red? Lol. I also only have red and pale pink. I’m with you on the diversifying journey! Anddd I also want great lingerie, as I type this while breastfeeding - let’s find some!

HA nothing at all, it’s my favourite sartorial colour I have just become physically incapable of wearing anything else (see Instagram 😝 🛑).

Being on the lingerie!! And good luck with the breastfeeding in the meantime !
