The anti nude pumps! I love hearing so many different perspectives regarding fashion. Comments like nude pumps being her equivalent of Karl’s sweatpants will always live in my head. My favorite fashion purchases ever are when the word “practical” simply cannot be used to describe them.
I too left a bridesmaid dress in a hotel (actually a long taffeta skirt, worn over a black velvet minidress). I think we wore the overskirt for the ceremony and took it off for the reception, but I also remember the bride saying she didn't care about the overskirt, we had to buy it to get the minidress, so maybe we brought them got the wedding in case she changed her mind? Over 30 years ago, so the details are lost to time...
